This was a first Millbridge Court Wedding for myself and also for James and Kate !!. I can gladly recommend this charming well run venue, with pretty gardens and beautiful interiors.
Kelly and Fred’s day was my first Tournerbury Wedding, on the Hampshire coast at Hayling Island. It is a superb place, an inspiring, magical setting with woods, flowers and stunning backdrop of the south coast estuary.
Phillipa & Nick’s Hampshire Wedding day was utterly sublime for wedding photos. Lovely clear sunlight with a hint of autumn crispness in the air. A couple of hours before the event, I met Philippa’s father in his overalls wielding an electric drill, putting the last touches to their garden and home for the reception. Hard work pays its rewards and the setting looked superb for their day. Our groom Nick had also played his part with some heavy pond clearance duties, though not on the morning of his wedding !
As a Hampshire Wedding Photographer, all I need for a great wedding shoot are some simple ingredients – a couple in love, pretty village church, Hampshire countryside setting, a barn, summer sunshine and a party.
There were gorgeous photo opportunities with Caroline and James’ wedding in the historic quarter of Southampton, Hampshire. Their day was spread over several venues all within a short walk of each other.
Its always inspiring to photograph a wedding at a new venue and my inspection of the superb Southdowns Manor for Simon and Alex’s day, certainly raised my excitement for some creative wedding photo opportunities. Set in the lovely West Sussex countryside it was v close for their church ceremony at St George’s, Trotton.
Kate & Duncan’s day had many choice ingredients for a sussex wedding photographer’s dream wedding shoot – a period country house setting with marquee on the lawn, the pretty village church 200m away, horse and cart for the couple, cute flower girl and pageboys, string quartet, fields of wild flowers and grasses, friends and family from around the globe……
I was looking forward to photographing Karen and John’s wedding day in the sunny Sussex countryside. I had shot at Kirdford before and it was a welcome return visit to the pretty village church of John the Baptist, bang opposite the very hospitable Half Moon Inn. No time to linger though, work to be done and all that…..must come back again sometime though….!!
Great wedding photo opportunities with 2 beautiful people and 2 beautiful Hampshire wedding venues !!
