Glorious autumn wedding with sunshine and vibrant colours for Zoe & Marcus. Classic style carried over different venues.

Zoe’s bridal preparations took place at the Barnet Hill Hotel. Friends, her mother, younger sister and  and Marcus sister were all present. Moral support, with some relaxed sipping of champagne. Loved the colourful silk dressing gowns.

It was traditional top hats & tails for Marcus and his groomsmen. And they looked mighty fine too.

The ceremony was at St Nicolas Church in Compton. Sweet little church, wonderfully decorated with autumn floral displays. I liked the view from the organ balcony. The sun was going to shine all day and provided nice back lighting, as the couple walked down the path, with falling confetti.

On to the stunning Loseley Park and gardens for the reception. The magnificent historic house was specially opened up for drinks and we could use the drawing room for some portraits & group photos. Thats was some fireplace!

The banquet was served in the nearby barn. After the delicious food, it seemed like we were in for a fairly standard post meal ‘breather’….but er…no, not quite. The supposedly (slightly inept)  ‘Polish’ waiter suddenly burst into operatic song. It crescendo-ed around the barn to dizzy heights, only to be taken into a higher stratosphere when the waitress joined in. Wow! guests were encouraged to get on tables and spin their napkins about – mental.

Things didn’t exactly die down after that. Zoe & Marcus treated us to their first dance moves and the evening party really got going, with some other fine dance-floor displays from supporting guests.

What a wonderful autumn wedding day and great to be a part of it. If you are planning an autumn wedding, at Loseley Park, or anywhere else, please dont hesitate to get in touch, to see how I can help you.
