Hendall Manor Photography

This was my first wedding shoot at the beautiful Hendall Manor Barns. Its always nice to work at a new venue and Hendall has many fine features, beautiful gardens and stunning backdrops for wedding photography. I loved the old stonework, walled gardens and lake.

The weather was gorgeous wall to wall sunshine for Amy & Richard’s day (nice and cool in the barn!). They had wished for a relaxed wedding day and I anticipated with the easy vibe that Hendall gives that all would be just that. All the extra touches were in place, music in the air, hushed expectation and …..Amy made her entrance – ‘poetry in motion’ for Richard and all gathered. It was a lovely ceremony.

Then all out into the sunshine for chilled drinkies, games, props and photos. We had plenty of fun waterside photo opportunities and no one fell into the lake ! The light was superb. Having all worked up a decent appetite, the delicious wedding feast went down extremely well with everyone (including the photographer – many thanks!). Speeches were well delivered and heartily enjoyed. More relaxing times then spent with evening guests arriving. back gathered in the barn, our couple impressed us with their twilight dancing manoeuvers. A wonderful wedding day at Hendall.
