It was a welcome return to photograph the superb Gorse Hill Hotel near Woking for Lucy and Sam’s wedding day. I love the architecture which reminds me of a French Chateau and the beautiful gardens. Lucy and family arrived in two immaculate vintage cars, one of which was definitely a Ford as it was written on the front !
It was an all family combo with Sam’s brother as best man and Lucy’s sister her maid of honour, and all looked very nice too as we gathered in the ceremony room. Violins played, vows and rings exchanged and our couple were wed. The sun burst through for some photos at the front with the cars and kids (the biggest kid had to wear the chauffeur’s cap for his photo!).
Then it was a nice relaxed reception time, sipping this and that, on the terrace and gardens. Some more photos with a ‘walkabout’ around the grounds before the delicious wedding banquet. The party atmosphere was building nicely as more evening guests arrived to witness Lucy & Sam cutting their cake and smooching with their first dance. A lovely day to share.
