It was a pleasure to return to this beautiful venue, for Charlotte & Nick’s intimate Hambleton Hall Wedding.
This was a small family gathering, by Rutland Water, in a spectacular setting, which has personal associations for the couple. Charlotte’s family have been holidaying here over the years and the couple were able to arrange their Hambleton Hall Wedding in the pavilion, adjacent to the hotel building, where they have had happy times.
Charlotte wore a lovely blue dress, with mini floral pattern. She was also due to wear a bridal dress the following week, when the couple were set to have their full wedding celebration in Herfordshire. Today was their legal ceremony and family sharing time, in a special place.
So their ceremony was held in the drawing room of the pavilion building and felt informal enough to be in a home! It was a nice way to do things. We had music, ring exchanges and a signing with witnesses, plus confetti outside.
The stunning gardens provide rich potential for photos, at a Hambleton Hall Wedding. They are predominantly south facing, with much variety of plants and picturesque corners. Lovely to explore it with Charlotte & Nick, spending relaxed time together. With the reservoir in the background, the place does have a unique almost ‘coastal’ atmosphere.
When we had finished the garden pictures, I didn’t stay so long. The two (now one!) families were having a dinner in the hotel Michelin starred dining room, which doesn’t really require photography to add to the gastronomic experience !?!
All in all a really super special Hambleton Hall Wedding. I can highly recommend this hotel for smaller intimate weddings.
