Great wedding photo opportunities with 2 beautiful people and 2 beautiful Hampshire wedding venues !!

Richard and Katherine’s day started in the pretty village of Holybourne, with family and friends gathering for the church ceremony at The Holy Rood church. The interior of which was stunningly decorated with abundant flowers. Katherine arrived in classic style in a white vintage Rolls (Country Style Cars), to be greeted by her sister and friend as bridesmaids. Her stunning dress from the Ivory Boutique in Farnham with bouquet from Village Flowers in Four Marks.

After a lovely relaxed ceremony, we nipped over the border to Surrey for the reception in the truly magnificent Farnham Castle. Now this really does have fantastic photo potential and provides a good workout exploring the extensive gardens – not just ‘some grass’, but the Great Lawn! Plus the rose garden, the tower, you can climb up and around the Norman Keep, then you’ve got the amazing interiors…..all quite a distance and I had developed a pretty good appetite, as had my couple ! (which was kindly rewarded by delicious food !).

While we ate it rained a bit, but after the meal, right on cue, it stopped and the clouds parted to reveal a superb sunset ! (up to the top of the keep again guys, keep smiling please) . Alex, a good friend of Richard and Katherine, had knocked up the funky, fruity cake which was ceremoniously sliced and distributed.

Our groom then showed us all his slickly choreographed dance moves, with his beautiful WIFE gracefully mirroring each step and twist – wow!! we were dazzled !!
