news - Jodie and Ian's wedding day

The rustic splendour of the Gate Street Barn was the setting for Jodie and Ian’s lovely wedding ceremony and reception. Writing their own vows and some quirky literary readings gave the Ian and Jodie’s ceremony their own very personal heartfelt meaning. I managed to keep composed enough to shoot, but emotion was welling up and the odd tremor on my shoulders and lower lip had to be controlled.

Jodie, elegant and beautiful, Ian, dashing and debonair, together they were very much the perfect couple in love.

The light rain fizzled out so we could celebrate outside and we did some romantic piccies exploring the grounds and lanes near the barn - a lovely setting.

With a conspiring team of 3 best men, Ian truly suffered some humiliation with their oratory onslaught (complete with props), but the warmth of the friendships shone through and any scuffles or fists were avoided. That out of the way the couple shone again with their professional dance and the party hit the floor for some rather less coordinated movin n grooving.
