Having got somewhat lost amidst the leafy lanes trying to locate Broadhempston, it was a relief to come across Tom and Mr Pocock putting up some signs for the way to the wedding venue. Of course I didn't give any impression that I was lost (just as well I left in plenty of time!) and pretended to have been researching the area.

Broadhempston is a delightful village for Gemma and Tom's (G&T) wedding, with the church conveniently situated virtually next door to the Monks Retreat Pub. Guests refreshed here before the ushers (led by the multi faceted 'Big Man') herded everyone to the church. The lovely ceremony was led by the jovial warm hearted Rev Nicolas Pearkes.

Then outside for a bit of confetti and off to the very picturesque Downe Manor for champers, fine scoff and a few photos
